A Slow Boil
It’s unique when you wake up to a series of posts on telegram that point to a small boil. The first was from Volymedia, who has access and contacts across both armies. Indeed, they have given us some good access to things like logistics and the status of the two armies.
The last thing I expected was for them to break into politics—the reason is Vladimir Kara-Murza. The truth is that this twenty-five-year sentence is making people realize where Russia is as Kara-Murza put it himself, back into the worse of the Stalin period.
Here is the statement, which is jarring since this is not the line the usual suspects:

Vladimir Kara-Murza was sentenced to 25 years in prison. It makes no sense to list articles and charges, because Kara-Murza was imprisoned not for fake stories about the Russian army, but for long, systematic and effective work, which drove hundreds of Russian security officials, officials and entrepreneurs associated with the Kremlin under international sanctions.
Vladimir was arrested because he returned to Russia, where they were waiting for him and were not going to let him go. Even before the war, Alexei Navalny also returned to the Russian Federation.
