If you have ever wondered how a mature propaganda system works, Russia provides a masterclass. The loss of Syria is a severe blow. And let’s be honest, some Russian families lost family and friends there. So, this loss has to be justified, somehow.

And if there is one thing Russians are incredibly good at, it is creating objective conditions when all changes are always good, even the disastrous ones. So here you go, through the resistance:
