A Letter to MAGA

There is a theme now on YouTube and other places. Mind you, I share the feeling. It was brought into focus when a lady outside my local grocery store was screaming on TikTok about her benefits being taken from her benefits card. It was something to behold. She blamed the Democrats for stealing her benefits.

I interrupted as I intended to poke the bear. “Did you vote for Trump?”

“Yes.” There was pride in that voice. I guess she thought she was owning the libs.

So, I proceeded to inform her who cut her benefits. It wasn’t the woke Democrats. The Democrats are suing to keep those benefits in place, nor do I know if this woman spent all her benefits or if they went poof. Or whether the story is even legit. There are other anecdotes like this on YouTube, however. There is no way to know.

So here is some information on that lawsuit incidentally, a judge has ordered these funds reestablished, and I frankly can’t keep up with whether they are back or not:
