The first of these involves the deep racism of the Russian far right, many of them turbo nationalists. The theme of nationalities has been under the water for a while. There is a fear of the other deep in the ethnic Russians or at least this group.

That is a fair warning, especially if you are Ukrainian. This contains very racist language. Some of this is the equivalent of the N-word for Americans not in the know. This is a reaction to an announcement that Ukrainian language textbooks would be produced. Of course, it was couched in this is what we used to do during Soviet times. One of the illusions of the time was that the Soviet Union was one large multi-ethnic family with zero ethnic or racial tensions. It was fiction, but alas, here is where we are.

Read this in that light.

There should be no Ukrainian language in New Russia.

Novorossiya is a beautiful land and beautiful cities that have always been at the forefront of protecting Russian interests and Russian identity.

Playing a multi-national game and blurring them with a Ukrainian-speaking cattle from the countryside — well, that’s it.

If this is done, then the Ukrainian bastard “well, they don’t have Russians in UKRAINE, they say in Surzhik, these are KUBANOIDS” will be strongly associated in this region.

Akim Apachev defends the Ukrainian language because of the identity crisis that he and a very large number of Donbass residents are suffering…
