2024 San Diego County Fair Launches
The San Diego County Fair is open from June 12 to July seven. The main theme this year is retro. However, you can get your tickets online and save money. We recommend you go this route for both tickets and parking. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Buying it online can save four dollars on weekdays and five dollars on weekends and holidays.
There are a few things to do at the fair, from rides to food to the woodworking show. We always enjoy walking around the sales hall. We usually find well-priced files for our miniature model work. You can also find clothes, kitchen appliances, and other stuff. Yes, I include garden furniture and Jacuzzis.
We also always enjoy the photo exhibit, and a few times, we have gone to a concert and dinner. This is the schedule for the Toyota series that includes both Smokey Robinson and Los Tucanes de Tijuana.
You can also find the more traditional things to do at the fair. The food and smoked turkey legs are always classics, as are rides. Oh, and some of the local vehicle dealerships also bring cars along. And what would a county fair be without animal exhibits?
Prepare to walk a lot, so wear comfy shoes. While the show is at the coastline in Miramar, do bring sunscreen. The sun does show up from time to time. Also, getting a hat is a good idea. Mostly, prepare to have fun at the County fair.
